Write a New Ending

Rewrite the ending. Keep Josie, Gus, and the globe, but change the plan.

Go back to the moment Josie asks, “What if the water is frozen solid?” Write a new ending where she and Gus try a different plan to stop the little man. Does it work?
Check your work
  • Starts with Josie and Gus making a plan.
  • The plan is different from the one in the story.
  • The new ending shows whether the plan works.
  • Keeps the story’s spooky mood.
